DATELINE:  Port Charles, NY – “If we could all please turn to Psalm 23 and read it together.  The Lord is my Shepherd, there is nothing I shall want.”  These were John’s first lines of dialogue on broadcast television when he played the Police Chaplain on ABC’s General Hospital.  John was cast by GH’s Emmy-winning casting director Mark Teschner after studying at the popular TVI Studios in Los Angeles.  John credits his many years as a lector at Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills for helping him nail his scenes in one take!
